Check One Two

Ok, at the request of Ramsey we now have a blogg up and running that will allow us to post gear links, preparation ideas, receipts, general comments etc...so that if we can't make the phone call we can at least check the blogg. If we can't remember where to find sales or deals on gear this will help.


I will post as much info as I can regarding the types of essential gear we need and any food ideas I might have. The hardest part for me is going to be the food preparation. It is a mentally frustrating task, which has to be done correctly or else you pay on the trail. If you have food ideas post them. I am going to be purchasing this weekend the book called Blisters and Bliss, WCT. It should help with some food ideas and also some packing suggestions.





Tomorrow I am going to be booking us on the West Coast Trail Express bus which will take us from Victoria to Pachena Bay. It is our only method of transportation to the start of the trail.

Ramsey also made a good point regarding any kind of money that is spent by one person for the group. Simply put the $ amount that needs to be reimbursed up on this site if you are the person paying. If you need to pay someone back check this frequently so that you can get the money back in the pocket of who ever paid. I know that there is a lot of gear that needs to be purchased and a lot of money being spent on this trip so lets make sure that now one is getting hit in the wallet more than the next guy.




This trip is going to be incredible. I can't even tell you how excited I am to be one of the few people in the world that get to experience something like this. I am very confident that the memories from this trip will be talked about for years to come. It actually might put us in a tight spot because we are going to want to out do ourselves on the next guys trip and i am sure it will be very difficult to beat.
